Born and raised in California, Cristy graduated from Occidental College with a B.S. in biology and then entered the business world. Always interested in properties and development, she became a real estate agent in 1979, listing and selling homes, lots, and investment property. She obtained her California Broker’s license in 1981, and taught courses in real estate investment before becoming a mortgage loan broker in 1983.

Outside of work, Cristy is very active in the Marin community where she lives with her family. She belongs to the Rotary Club of Marin Sunrise, the Board of Center for Domestic Peace in San Rafael, and the Ross Commons Singers.  Her many interests include hiking, travel, camping, museum visits, taking in concerts and plays, and rooting for the San Francisco Giants.
